How It Feels
This cane is best described as sting focused. The 10 mm acrylic rod gives it a firm, structured feel with a crisp, sharp sensation. Although shorter than a traditional full-length cane, it still has a strong impact profile and should be used with care.

Half cane length: 32 cm to 36 cm
Half cane thickness: 10 mm
Material: Solid core acrylic rod

Due to the handmade nature of this item, weight and dimensions may vary slightly.

Mini Cane / Misery Stick Note
The mini cane, also known as a misery stick, is made from 4 mm solid core acrylic rod and has enough flexibility for a light flicking motion. It should not be over-flexed, as this may cause the acrylic to snap.
Mini cane colours include red, orange, yellow, and green, with a black PVC handle.
Please note: the mini cane / misery stick option is currently out of stock.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the half cane UV reactive?
Yes. The translucent acrylic colours are designed to react under UV or blacklight, creating a bright fluorescent glow.
How does the half cane feel?
The half cane has a sharp, sting-focused feel. The solid acrylic rod gives it a firm and precise sensation rather than a soft or thuddy feel.
Why choose a shorter cane?
A shorter cane is easier to handle in compact spaces and can be more discreet to transport in a kit bag. It is also useful for customers who prefer a more controlled, close-range accessory.
Is it flexible?
The 10 mm half cane is firm and structured. The smaller 4 mm mini cane has more flex, but it should not be over-bent.
Care Instructions
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before storing. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may affect the acrylic surface. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to help preserve the UV reactive colours.
Intended Use
For consenting adult use only. Use responsibly, communicate clearly, and stop if discomfort occurs. Avoid sensitive areas such as the head, neck, joints, spine, and kidneys. Do not over-flex acrylic items, as this may cause damage.
